I have lived in the South Towns for all of my life. I graduated from Holland Central High School and the Ormsby Technical School with a degree in Plastics technology in 1974. I went on to the Bryant & Stratton Business institute and graduated in 1977. I became a licensed real Estate Agent in 1975 and a New York State Licensed Real Estate Broker in 1978. I purchased the real Estate Company from my parents in 1981. I went back to school once again at Bryant & Stratton in 1983 and became a New York State licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Broker and opened Trank & Associates Insurance Agency in 1983 that grew into its current size and employs 4 full time Insurance agents.

In 2016 I received the Status of "Realtor Emeritus" from The National Association of Realtors" for recognition of Valuable and Lasting Contribution to the Real Estate profession in the Community.  

I have been happily married to Colleen (Rosier), since 1978. We have 2 daughters that are both married and we have 4 grand Children. I am very fortunate to have my wife and daughters working here in the Agency with me every day. I run my business in a 'Family Atmosphere" where everyone who works here and all of our customers are treated like family. Our clients feel like a part of our family when they come in to see us and need our help.

Our Staff includes a very long list of experienced Brokers and agents and most of them have been with us for 20 years or longer. I pride myself on personally training my agents to ensure they are the best in the business. 

My Interets include Nascar Racing as I was a driver and later became an owner of a 2 car operation for over 3 decades (from 1974 to 2011) and have raced all over the Northeast sporting professional late model drivers such as Mike Wrobel, Rodney Arndt, Mark "Bushy" Bliss and TJ Johnson to name a few of my drivers.

Since retiring from Racing, I have more time to follow my hobbies that include riding my motorcycle, hunting, playing golf and bowling.
